1 - 5th of July (Morgan Packard Remix)
2 - Indian Summer (Birdcage Remix)
3 - Malibu (Silencefiction Remix)
4 - Everything Is Forgiven (Yellowcake Remix)
5 - Malibu (Kyoka Remix)

Untitled 17 collects five very diverse remixes of Robert Crouch's past releases on Untitled & After. Each track pushes and pulls at Crouch's rhythmic and textural explorations. Each artist extracts Crouch's key elements of subdued beats, deep drones and field recordings and expands them as their own. Untitled 17 is like a magnifying glass held up to all the intricate details of Crouch's music, blowing them up into bold, focused, aggressive statements.
Morgan Packard's remix of "5th of July" maintains the original's vibrant textures, but pushes the beats to an off-step dub without the dread.
Birdcage's remix of "Indian Summer" is deep, focused and propulsive. Shimmering pulses build into overwhelming shoegazer beams of white light.
Silencefiction's remix of "Malibu" reinterprets the original as a techno track propelled by a fuzzy bass guitar. All rhythmic structures descend into a slow half-time trot before leaping back to life.
Yellowcake's remix of "Everything Is Forgiven" is all deep blue swirling from the center. A complexity that keeps all in perfect balance.
Kyoka's remix of "Malibu" is a radical rhythmic reinterpretation of the original. Fractured samples and loops of beats play off each other like some sort of Capoeira. Half giddy game and half aggressive battle, each moment is inspired and unpredictable.
