Dead Seal

Untitled 07

A - S.F. Ucker
B - Indifferent Bitch
C - Riche Girl
D - S.F. Ucker (Instrumental Mix)

Hot on the heels of his release for Auralism, Dead Seal issues a four track EP of techno-not-techno on Untitled & After. A slippery wonderland of moody rhythms, uncanny textures and witchy vocals.

"To my favorite city: San Francisco."

S.F. Ucker is an anthem for the current techno eruption in San Francisco, California. A personal testimony of love for a city whose legacy of creative living is legendary worldwide, but belongs to everyone. This ripping track is as direct and crunchy as rock, as infectuous as synth-pop and dancefloor propulsive as techno. Skinny Puppy fronted by Green Velvet. Tiga remixed by Cabaret Voltaire. Stay tuned for the S.F. Ucker video in late-October.

Indifferent Bitch is a track that goes deep. Deep into a heavy, clanking groove. Deep into swirling atmospheres. Deep into the urges of being seduced by passive rejection.

Riche Girl is an eerie and mysterious track that runs hot and humid. Techno that is sneaky rather than pounding, taking more than a few cues from the new wave of deep house. Minimal and spacious.
